We start with the gospel of salvation:

Accepting the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ is the most important issue in life. It is the most basic answer to the question "Why are we here?" The Christian life begins with a simple act of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, which accepts God's free gift of salvation. It is as simple as 

"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31) 

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16) 

“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9). 

Easy for us, very difficult for Jesus Christ our Savior.  He paid for our salvation on the Cross. God is a God of grace. He does the work, and we benefit. Salvation is given, not earned. And God's way is the only way.

The Future Times Book

The book "The Future Times: Biblical Prophecies About the Remainder of History & Beyond" was written to provide straight-forward information about the future as revealed in the Book of Revelation and related passages throughout the Bible.  The use of the phrase "End Times" as commonly used does not adequately describe the future events which God has revealed in His Word.  Therefore the title of the book is The Future Times.

THE BOOK IS FREE.  Nothing is requested or desired, and nothing will be accepted in any form.  It is a gift.  God has provided salvation free of charge as a gift to all who believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior.  The Bible says:

If you are attempting to understand what the Bible reveals about the future times, Bible prophecy, the Rapture of Church (resurrection), "where did those people go?", the Tribulation, the return (Second Advent) of Jesus Christ, the Millennium, the Eternal State after history has concluded, and the Book of Revelation in general this is the place for truth from God's Word.  

This book avoids useless speculation.  God has revealed what He wants us to know about the future.  The rest we are not meant to know.  We must live by faith.  Understanding what God wants us to know about the future times strengthens our faith.  Knowing everything about the future times would set aside our faith.

After human history is completed and the Lord has destroyed the current universe, the New Jerusalem hovers above the new earth which has no oceans, with the light of God from the New Jerusalem illuminating the new universe as the only source of light during eternity.  The Bible says about the New Jerusalem and new earth:
